PC’s Mobile Computer Services was launched in July of 2010 right after my retirement from USPS where I worked in mail processing machine maintenance. The Postal Service like all companies these days uses computers for everything from timekeeping to address lookups to actually controlling machines. This is where I became acquainted with Computers. Some of my fellow employees began asking if I could help with their computer problems. I took classes at our local community college to prepare for Comp TIA A+ certification. I enjoy helping people and the challenge of solving problems. I have mainly targeted the residential market but also work with some small businesses. I also do work for several national companies as a field service tech. Sometimes people drop off their machines at my home shop in Weaverville or at Luke Atkinson Furniture 728 Haywood Road in West Asheville. My goal is to give fast, friendly, quality service at reasonable prices to our local community. After five years in business I’ve repaired hundreds, (average of 120 per year) of all kinds of computers. I also replace broken iPad and iPhone screens. I enjoy taking the mystery and frustration out of computer use especially for my senior clients.
